Worth the run down I-96.
There is no shortage of places that will tint a car in an hour. What brings drivers down I-96 to us is how the job is done: film cut by computer to the exact window, glass cleaned until nothing is left to trap, and edges tucked instead of trimmed short. Wixom is a town with real car roots, home for fifty years to the plant that built Lincolns, and the people who drive out of it tend to ask which film is going on and what the warranty covers. Those are the right questions, and we would rather answer them than rush a car through.
“I got my car tinted and PPF here. An absolutely incredible job. Moody was prompt with updates and the quality speaks for itself. All my edges are tucked and the tint goes right to the edge. Never knew you could do that.”
“Excellent work, excellent customer service, and a great price for ceramic tints. Moody is the man for all-around cosmetic work. Will be back with my next car.”
“Professional in every way. Did a fantastic job on my tints. Definitely recommend for anyone looking to get their car done. First class all the way around.”

Ceramic film, cut and tucked.
Every tint job here uses nano-ceramic film, the kind that blocks heat and 99% of UV without the metal layer that gets in the way of phone signal, GPS and key fobs. Each window is computer cut to the glass, the glass is deep cleaned, and the film is hand squeegeed and tucked into the seals so there is no light gap at the edge. It will not turn purple, and it is backed by a manufacturer lifetime warranty against fading, bubbling and peeling. We carry a range of shades, plus colored tints if you want something louder.
Window Tinting FAQ.
How do I choose a shade?
Come see the shades on glass before you commit. We will walk you through how each one looks from outside and how it feels to see out of at night, then you decide. Customers mention that part in their reviews.
Does tint help in winter too?
Yes. Low winter sun and glare off snow are when a lot of drivers notice tint the most, and UV comes through the glass all year. The same film is what keeps a parked car from turning into an oven in July.
How long until I can roll the windows down?
Leave them up for three to five days so the film can cure against the glass. A slight haze or a few small water pockets in the first days is normal and clears by itself. In cold weather the cure takes longer, so give it extra time in winter.
