Will the film yellow or peel over time?
Old-generation films did. Modern urethane film is built to stay clear, and the film we install carries a 12-year factory warranty.
Is it worth it on a car I already drive?
Yes, as long as the paint is in good shape. We decontaminate and clay the surface first so nothing gets trapped under the film. It will not erase chips that are already there, but it stops the next ones.
What does self-healing actually mean?
The top layer of the film is an elastic clear coat. Light swirls and fine scratches in that layer flatten back out with heat from the sun or a rinse of warm water, so the surface keeps looking fresh instead of collecting wash marks.
