Ask us the hard questions.
Ann Arbor buyers research everything, and PPF rewards that. The questions worth asking are simple: is the film cut to the panel, how are the edges finished, how is the paint prepped, and what does the warranty cover. Here the answers are a decontamination wash and clay before anything touches the car, film patterned to your exact panels, heat-set edges, and a 12-year factory warranty. PPF is a popular choice on new EVs and on anything else whose owner plans to keep it a long time. The drive back on M-14 will remind you why you wanted it.
“I got my car tinted and PPF here. An absolutely incredible job. Moody was prompt with updates and the quality speaks for itself. All my edges are tucked and the tint goes right to the edge. Never knew you could do that.”
“Only crew i trust for all my tint, vinyl wrap and PPF needs. Very attentive to detail.”
“I've been to a few shops and this is by far the best shop in the area! From their customer service to their work is impeccable! Always the best prices and flawless work. Highly recommended.”

Invisible armor, installed by hand.
Paint protection film is a clear urethane layer that takes the hit instead of your paint: rock chips, road rash, bug acid and the light scratches that show up after one winter. The top coat is self-healing, so swirl marks relax out with heat from the sun or warm water. Every install starts with a decontamination wash and clay, then the film is patterned and cut to your panels, squeegeed flat and heat-set at the edges in a dust-controlled bay. You pick gloss or matte, front end or full body, and it carries a 12-year factory warranty.
Paint Protection Film FAQ.
Can PPF be removed later?
Yes. It is designed to come off factory paint cleanly, which is one reason people put it on leased cars and cars they plan to resell.
What does self-healing actually mean?
The top layer of the film is an elastic clear coat. Light swirls and fine scratches in that layer flatten back out with heat from the sun or a rinse of warm water, so the surface keeps looking fresh instead of collecting wash marks.
Can you see where the film ends?
Applied properly it is very hard to spot. The film is cut to the panel and the edges are tucked and heat-set, so there is no obvious line across the middle of a hood or fender.
