Ann Arbor has more Cybertrucks than it admits.
Park a Cybertruck on Main Street on a football Saturday and it collects fingerprints from strangers before you get back to it. That is the first thing most Ann Arbor owners notice about bare stainless: every palm, every smudge and every drip of tree sap shows. Tree Town also drops a steady load of sap and bird droppings, which Tesla's own manual says to get off the steel right away. Paint protection film puts a clear, self-healing layer between all of that and the metal, and in a matte finish it keeps the brushed look you bought the truck for. Want it to look nothing like the one in the next spot over? A vinyl color change does that, and it comes off when you are done.
“I got my car tinted and PPF here. An absolutely incredible job. Moody was prompt with updates and the quality speaks for itself. All my edges are tucked and the tint goes right to the edge. Never knew you could do that.”
“Helped me pick the perfect color for my Model S. The installer is an artist and detail-oriented. Impeccable workmanship.”
“I recommend all my friends and family to Imperial Auto Films. The best customer service around paired with true quality work, and fairly priced. Would give more stars if I could.”
Two ways to go.

Cybertruck FAQ.
Why put PPF on a truck with no paint?
Because there is no clear coat to polish a scratch out of. A key mark, a scuff from a pillar or a stone hit on bare stainless is in the metal itself. PPF takes those hits instead, and light marks in the film heal with heat.
Wrap or PPF, which should I get?
If you like the stainless look, get clear PPF, it keeps the look and protects it. If you want a different color, get a vinyl wrap. If you want color and maximum protection, colored or satin PPF is the route Tesla itself took for its own Cybertruck wraps.
Will matte PPF change how the stainless looks?
Very little. A matte or satin film keeps the brushed steel look, it mostly just evens out the finish. Gloss film is the one that changes it, giving the panels a wet, polished shine.
