Worth the drive across Oakland.
Troy has no shortage of Cybertrucks along Big Beaver, and owners driving that far want to know why they should. The answer is how a job this size gets handled. A Cybertruck's panels are some of the largest flat surfaces on any vehicle, and its sharp creases show any lifted edge or crooked seam. We decontaminate the stainless first, pattern each panel, lay the film without stretching it and heat-set every edge. Clear PPF keeps the steel safe from parking garage scuffs at Somerset and freeway grit on I-75. One reviewer wrote that Moody explained every detail to them, and that is how a quote here goes too.
“I got my car tinted and PPF here. An absolutely incredible job. Moody was prompt with updates and the quality speaks for itself. All my edges are tucked and the tint goes right to the edge. Never knew you could do that.”
“Helped me pick the perfect color for my Model S. The installer is an artist and detail-oriented. Impeccable workmanship.”
“I recommend all my friends and family to Imperial Auto Films. The best customer service around paired with true quality work, and fairly priced. Would give more stars if I could.”
Two ways to go.

Cybertruck FAQ.
Why put PPF on a truck with no paint?
Because there is no clear coat to polish a scratch out of. A key mark, a scuff from a pillar or a stone hit on bare stainless is in the metal itself. PPF takes those hits instead, and light marks in the film heal with heat.
Wrap or PPF, which should I get?
If you like the stainless look, get clear PPF, it keeps the look and protects it. If you want a different color, get a vinyl wrap. If you want color and maximum protection, colored or satin PPF is the route Tesla itself took for its own Cybertruck wraps.
Can I take it through a car wash?
Hand washing is best, and Tesla discourages automatic car washes for the Cybertruck anyway. With film on, a hand wash with plain car soap is all it needs, and a ceramic coating over the film makes it even quicker.
