I-94 is hard on a stainless truck.
Ypsilanti owners put real miles on the freeway, and I-94 between here and Detroit is a steady supply of gravel, construction debris and winter grit. On a painted truck that means chips. On a Cybertruck there is no paint to chip, but a stone still leaves a mark in the steel, and there is no clear coat to polish it out of. Full front coverage with self-healing PPF takes those hits instead: the nose under the light bar, the leading edges and the lower panels behind the front wheels. If you would rather change the look entirely, satin black and gloss black vinyl are the two most popular finishes for a Cybertruck.
“Excellent work, excellent customer service, and a great price for ceramic tints. Moody is the man for all-around cosmetic work. Will be back with my next car.”
“They brought my dreams to reality. Helped me find the perfect color, installed my colored tints, and even sourced and installed my carbon fiber parts.”
“Professional in every way. Did a fantastic job on my tints. Definitely recommend for anyone looking to get their car done. First class all the way around.”
Two ways to go.

Cybertruck FAQ.
Can it come off later?
Yes. Both vinyl wraps and PPF are designed to come off cleanly, which is why owners use them on trucks they plan to sell or trade. The steel underneath is exactly as it was when the film went on.
Can I take it through a car wash?
Hand washing is best, and Tesla discourages automatic car washes for the Cybertruck anyway. With film on, a hand wash with plain car soap is all it needs, and a ceramic coating over the film makes it even quicker.
What are the orange spots on my Cybertruck?
Usually iron particles from rail dust or brake dust sitting on the steel and oxidizing on the surface. We remove that contamination before any film goes on, and once the film is on, new particles land on the film instead of the stainless.
