Office lots are rough on stainless.
A Cybertruck parked in an office lot off Northwestern Highway all day collects more than looks. Door dings from the car next to it, scuffs from people squeezing past, dust and sap from the trees along the edge. On stainless, none of that polishes out the way it would on clear coat. Self-healing PPF is built for exactly this. Light scratches in the film relax out with heat from the sun, the steel underneath stays untouched, and the film is designed to come off cleanly if you ever sell or trade the truck. Full-body or high-impact areas only, we will quote both so you can compare.
“Helped me pick the perfect color for my Model S. The installer is an artist and detail-oriented. Impeccable workmanship.”
“I recommend all my friends and family to Imperial Auto Films. The best customer service around paired with true quality work, and fairly priced. Would give more stars if I could.”
“Excellent work, excellent customer service, and a great price for ceramic tints. Moody is the man for all-around cosmetic work. Will be back with my next car.”
Two ways to go.

Cybertruck FAQ.
Why put PPF on a truck with no paint?
Because there is no clear coat to polish a scratch out of. A key mark, a scuff from a pillar or a stone hit on bare stainless is in the metal itself. PPF takes those hits instead, and light marks in the film heal with heat.
Will matte PPF change how the stainless looks?
Very little. A matte or satin film keeps the brushed steel look, it mostly just evens out the finish. Gloss film is the one that changes it, giving the panels a wet, polished shine.
Can it come off later?
Yes. Both vinyl wraps and PPF are designed to come off cleanly, which is why owners use them on trucks they plan to sell or trade. The steel underneath is exactly as it was when the film went on.
