A Tesla in Ford's hometown.
Driving a Cybertruck in the hometown of Ford already gets looks. A color change gets more. Satin black is the most popular finish, gloss black gives it a wet look under streetlights on Michigan Avenue, and we have done a satin gold that stops people in parking lots. Custom graphics are on the table too, like the red wolf on the gloss black truck in our gallery. Whatever goes on, the vinyl or film covers the stainless and protects it from scratches and grime while it is there. If you want to keep the factory steel look, clear PPF in a matte finish does the protecting without changing the appearance.

Two ways to go.

Cybertruck FAQ.
Why put PPF on a truck with no paint?
Because there is no clear coat to polish a scratch out of. A key mark, a scuff from a pillar or a stone hit on bare stainless is in the metal itself. PPF takes those hits instead, and light marks in the film heal with heat.
Can it come off later?
Yes. Both vinyl wraps and PPF are designed to come off cleanly, which is why owners use them on trucks they plan to sell or trade. The steel underneath is exactly as it was when the film went on.
Can I take it through a car wash?
Hand washing is best, and Tesla discourages automatic car washes for the Cybertruck anyway. With film on, a hand wash with plain car soap is all it needs, and a ceramic coating over the film makes it even quicker.
